BCG is a small, woman-owned, professional consulting firm that has been applying system safety principles to passenger transportation (primarily transit) since 1993. Our consulting work is mostly in the Federal space, but we frequently work at state and local levels as well. Our primary focus is on safety and security. Since the passage of the Moving Ahead for Progress in the 21st Century Act (MAP-21), we have shifted our focus heavily towards Safety Management Systems (SMS), risk assessment, and management of hazards before accidents occur. We emphasize customer relationships and the strategies necessary to ensure desired outcomes to each project milestone and deliverable.
