Trex Enterprises

Trex Enterprises makes electronic components and equipment for government and commercial customers. Products include digital imaging components, optical and wireless networking components, and components and materials for the semiconductor industry. The company operates six subsidiaries, including Loea Corporation, which makes high-speed, high-bandwidth radios that operate in millimeter-wave bandwidth free space from 71-76 GHz and 81-86 GHz range. Trex was founded in 1978 and was owned by Thermo Electron (now Thermo Fisher Scientific) from 1988 to 2000. Officers own one-third of the company, with employees owning two-thirds.
